Personal Loan - Budget Your Money For Emergency Fund Resources That Do NOT Cost Money
By Ken Bryce
There are at least five different ways you can save an Emergency Fund so you don't have to have a personal loan to pay for a crisis.
Have a Yard Sale.
Of course, you have enough junk for a good yard sale. Everyone does. Get rid of those UGLY lamps Aunt Martha gave you. Sell that cozy quilt you NEVER use. And, what about that sewing machine you don't remember how to thread? Advertize. Get rid of the junk, it's costing you money to store it anyway.
Walk to Work or take Public Transit.
You'd be surprised how much you would save if you just stopped using the car every time you ran to the store, or went to work. Public Transit works much better if its available, and you don't have to buy the tires.
Stop Going to Starbucks.
We call it ten bucks, because we always go in twos, like the Ark. You don't go out for coffee alone, you always take a friend. Ten bucks a day, every day of the month is $300.00. Save it and put it in the bank.
Be a Bagger.
Bag your lunch at home. Those left overs from dinner last night will be mighty tasty about noon tomorrow. Brown bag it and take a brisk walk instead of going out for lunch with the suit and tie crowd. When they're worried about the credit card bill, you can pull cash from your pocket and take your girl friend to lunch.
Get a Part-Time Job.
Yes, you did hear me right. You don't have to spend your Friday nights partying with the gang, deliver pizza instead.
